The IDM Southwest team attends Military Assistance Mission’s annual golf tournament in support of local military families.
In honor of Memorial Day weekend, Southwest IDM team members joined the Military Assistance Mission (MAM) to support their annual golf tournament. All funds raised from the MAM golf tournament, raffles, and auction items are used to assist Arizona military members and their families. We had two foursomes of golfers participate in the tournament, as well as several volunteers helping with event set-up, take-down, registration, and other activities out on the course.
The Military Assistance Mission was founded by Margy Bons in honor of her son. Military Assistance Mission provides financial assistance and morale aid to over 120 Arizona active duty, guard & reserve military service members. Each year approximately 2,500 military members and families benefit from MAM’s morale and event programs such as Operation Holiday Open House, Seats for Soldiers, and Baby Bundle Bash.
What a wonderful organization and a great way to kick-off Memorial Day weekend in Arizona!
